This image canon, often juxtaposed, reveals similarities and differences: Aerial photos from around 1985 are compared with current Apple map data, Instagram snapshots are presented alongside Impressionist paintings, and the park’s wooden jetty is collated with Olafur Eliasson’s artwork “The Parliament of Reality” (2006–2009). Accompanied by texts from Carsten and Engel, the atlas produces a colorful, detailed system of the park and its uses, its history, present, and future. Topics such as mobility, guidance systems, gastronomy, and the integration of the Britzer Garten into its surroundings are negotiated, creating a comprehensive examination of the park’s role within the urban landscape and its potential for continual transformation.
",
"align": "bottom",
"row": 2,
"col": 0,
"colspan": 12,
"offsetx": 0,
"offsety": 0,
"spaceabove": "10",
"spacebelow": "5",
"yvel": 1,
"push": 0,
"relid": 5,
"absolute_position": true,
"frameOverflow": ""
},
{
"type": "text",
"cont": "
CLIENT
Grün Berlin GmbH

CONCEPT
Stefan Carsten, Ludwig Engel, Julia Volkmar

TEXTS
Stefan Carsten, Ludwig Engel

DESIGN
Julia Volkmar

IN COLLABORATION WITH
Maria Boehme, Ole Hartmann, André Ruppert

PHOTOGRAPHY
Julia Volkmar
",
"align": "bottom",
"row": 3,
"col": 0,
"colspan": 12,
"offsetx": 0,
"offsety": 0,
"spaceabove": "5",
"spacebelow": "10",
"yvel": 1,
"push": 0,
"relid": 6,
"absolute_position": true,
"frameOverflow": ""
},
{
"type": "img",
"cont": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar.jpg",
"align": "bottom",
"row": 4,
"col": 0,
"colspan": 12,
"offsetx": 0,
"offsety": 0,
"spaceabove": 0,
"spacebelow": 0,
"yvel": 1,
"push": 0,
"relid": 1087,
"attid": 725,
"sizes": {
"full": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar.jpg",
"_2560": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar-2560x1912.jpg",
"_1920": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar-1920x1434.jpg",
"_1280": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar-1280x956.jpg",
"_1024": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar-1024x765.jpg",
"_768": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar-768x574.jpg",
"_512": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar-512x382.jpg",
"_265": "/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/01_Atlas-Britzer-Garten_Julia-Volkmar-265x198.jpg"
},
"w": 2800,
"h": 2091,
"ar": 0.7467857142857143,
"alt": "",
"absolute_position": false,
"dosync": false
}
]
}
["GET
